Budget backups exclude conversations and saved facts. This separate export is an archive and cannot be imported through budget restore.
Deleting a fact removes its reuse in future chats; messages containing it remain in saved conversations. Deleting conversations leaves logged financial entries in Activity. Deletion cannot recall prompts already sent to your AI provider or erase downloaded exports or infrastructure backups. Minimal revision and deleted-ID markers remain to prevent stale retries.

Saving a card sets your preferences. Automatic logging also needs one-time Shortcuts setup on your iPhone.
Get a confirmation when Budget saves an Apple Pay payment, or receives one that needs review. Amounts and merchants stay private.
Changes apply to new payments. Existing expenses and payment records already received keep their original account.
Connecting again replaces this card’s previous phone access once Shortcuts connects. Your recorded expenses stay the same.
